Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is a month of blessings, reflections, and the best time to make dua. Muslims increase their ibadah(worship), and good deeds, and make immense dua or supplications to seek forgiveness for past sins. We thank Allah(S.W.T) for reuniting us and giving us this opportunity again after a long year of ups and downs.
As Allah(S.W.T) said in the Holy Quran “The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the crescent of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for your hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you, and perhaps you will be grateful.” (Surah Baqarah, Verse 185)
It is the time when the gates of heaven open wider and our prayers and duas directly ascend to Allah. As our Prophet Muhammad(SAW) said “There has come to you the blessed month of Ramadan, in which God, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and every single devil is chained.” [An-Nasa’i].
As we enter into this beautiful spiritual journey, let’s gather ourselves from our busy schedules and learn duas for forgiveness and blessings. Here’s a list of 30 refreshing duas for 30 days with their meanings that help to make your Ramadan more productive.

Dua For Piety, Fear Of God (Taqwa)
Being pious makes the soul happy and gives peace to the heart. Taqwa, which means fearing Allah, is what stops people from doing bad things. It’s this fear of Allah that helps believers stay aware and know what’s right and wrong.
“O you who believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true.” [Quran 9:19]
Allāhumma Innī As’aluka al-Hudā Wat-Tuqā Wal-Afāfa Wal-Ghinā

Dua For Blessed Family
Allah wants us to not only make dua for ourselves but for our loved ones. We can make our spouse and children true believers by reciting this dua so that they can become the source of comfort for us. This prayer of the Quran shows that the true servants of Allah are more concerned about their family in Hereafter than the enjoyment of this world.

-
Dua For Forgiveness
This is the dua of Our Father Adam and Mother Eve after they disobeyed Allah in Jannah. This dua is the powerful acceptance of your flaws and considering yourself among ‘losers’. Allah loves those who are down to Earth, humble, and not self-praised. In the Quran, Allah says “Successful indeed are the believers, those who humble themselves in their prayers.” [Surah Al-Mu’minun Verse 1-2]

Dua For Health
Through this dua we not only ask Allah for physical wellbeing but also spiritual one. In this way, we possess both a healthy body and a moral heart. So don’t waste your healthy body and use it in a way that Allah pleases us as Abu Bakr, companion of Prophet (ﷺ ), said that he heard Him repeat this supplication three times in the morning and again three times in the evening [reported by Abu Dawud, 5093]
Allaahumma ‘aafinee fee badanee, Allaahumma ‘aafinee fee sam’ee, Allaahumma ‘aafinee fee basaree, laa ‘ilaaha ‘illaa ‘Anta.

Dua For One Whose Affair Have Become Difficult
Surely all praises are to Allah. Whether we are happy with the blessing He gives to us or in a difficult situation, we should always remember the ONE who has all the powers to refuge us from all of the evil conditions. He who has put us in trouble will get us out of it.
Allāhumma lā saḥla illā ma ja`altahu saḥla wa anta taj`alu ‘l-ḥazna idhā shi’ta saḥla.
O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.
[ Hisn al-Muslim 139]
-
Dua For Believe
You can get to know the importance of this dua with just one hadith. Let me tell you that our Messenger of Allah said, ‘If anyone says this dua in the morning, I guarantee that I will hold his hand until he is admitted to Jannah.’ Not only this He further added that ‘Allah will certainly please him on the Day of Judgment.’ [Al Silsilah al-Sahihah:2686]

Supplication is the weapon of every Muslim. We have to make dua every time to seek Allah’s protection and care. That’s why Our Prophet ﷺ has taught us these types of dua which protect us from evil affairs, contagious diseases, or even bad things that will happen to us.

Dua Of Prophet Ayyub ( A.S.)
This is a dua for recovery from illness. Prophet Ayub ( A.S.) teaches us through this dua that we should accept reality and not complain or wish to be changed in another way. Although he is the Prophet of Allah, he didn’t say any disrespectful words and ask Allah’s mercy, because it’s the only thing through which all issues can be repaired.

Dua After Every Fard Namaz (Prayer)
Why not make our prayer more productive and beneficial than before? Learn this amazing dua and recite it at the end of every prayer. It connects you with your Creator and when you recite with sincerity, it will become as good as before. You are also thanking Allah in this dua and make Him sure to worship in a good manner.

O Allah, aid me in remembering You, thanking You, and worshiping You properly.
[al-Nasai and Abu Dawud]
-
Dua For Kindness And Inner Beauty
It’s important for us, as Ummat-e-Muslimah, that we ask Allah to develop good characteristics just like we take care of our outward appearance. This includes being kind, respectful, and honest, which makes us better human beings inside and out. Abdullah ibn Mas’ūd ( may Allah be pleased with him) reported that our Prophet ( ﷺ) says this dua.
allaahumma kamaa ḥassanta khalqee fa ḥassin khuluqee
“O Allah You have made my creation perfect, so make my moral characteristics also the best.”
[Hadith; Bulugh al-Maram]
-
Dua For ACCEPTANCE
This is the dua of Prophet Ibrahim and his beloved son Isma’il when they are raising the foundation of Allah’s house, Holy Kaaba. They both were building the house and asked Allah to accept this deed. Although they are giving voluntary charity with pure hearts and performing worshiping acts, their hearts are full of fear that their good deeds might not be acceptable. Ahh, What kind of Imaan do they have?
rabbana taqabbal minna innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu
“Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.”
[Quran; 2:127]

[Hadith; Muslim 763 g]
-
Dua For Right Direction
Islam is the religion that guides us to a straight path. Our Prophet Muhammad ( ﷺ) instructed Sayyiduna Ali (R.A.), one of his beloved companions, to recite this dua. So why not ask Allah to guide us in the direction that will lead directly to Jannah? Learn and recite this dua throughout Ramadan as it’s the month of acceptance of our duas.
Allahumma-hiding wa saddidni
“O Allah, direct me to the right path and make me adhere to the straight path.”
[Hadith; Muslim 2725 a]
-
Dua For Satisfaction
This beautiful dua is flowing from the bottom of the believer’s heart. Said by none other than Prophet Musa ( A.S.) who needs everything for survival, whose whole life is full of trials and challenges, knows Allah is the only provider. When we read this dua, it will directly knock at the door of the Giver, Allah Almighty.
rabi ‘iiniy lima ‘anzalt ‘iilaya min khayr faqir
“My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.”
[Quran; 28:24]
-
Dua For Entering In JANNAH
Allah gave us good news in the Quran that his true believers who have faith in Him didn’t get hurt by His disbelievers. They don’t get distracted from his worship and remain steadfast in the truth. So ask Allah, our Provider, Creator, Giver, for as much as you want, just like the wife of the Pharaoh when she said:
رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّة
rabi abn li eindak baytan fi aljana
“My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise…”
[Quran; 66:11]
-
Dua For Patience
We, as Muslims, have a lack of tolerance. When we have patience, we keep our emotions in control and prevent them from not doing harmful activities that are not right for us. So we will have to seek sabr (patience) every time to bring peace and tranquility to our lives. Allah Almighty says in the Quran about sabr: O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.” [ Surah Imran: verse 200]
rabana ‘afrigh ealayna sabran watawafana muslimin
“Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims .”
[Quran; 7:126]
-
Dua For Pious Company
A friend in need is a friend indeed! And what’s better than a righteous company? A person who follows Islam and Sunnah with his pure heart, who does all good deeds, who has a fear of Allah, and who makes friends for the sake of Allah is a righteous person according to Allah. Always make this dua for moral company which always reminds you of Allah anytime, anywhere, and pushes you towards good deeds.
Rabbana aamana faktubna ma’ ash-shahideen
Our Lord! We believe; write us down among the witnesses.
[Surah Al-Ma’idah – 5:83]
Wishing You All a Blessed Ramadan
Allah has created this world full of hardships to test His believers. Ramadan is the perfect month for us to do as many good deeds, dua, and prayers as we do. We reconnect ourselves with Allah Almighty with these duas, so don’t be shy to recite this dua whether in English or Arabic, because we don’t know if we will get this opportunity next year. Say these duas to gain guidance, and protect us from hellfire, as Allah hears you anything and anywhere. Share this beautiful duas with your loved ones because our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his words end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and s righteous child who prays for him.”
